IMG_4233Welcome! My name is Tabitha Johnson and I am a photographer based out of Leesburg, Florida serving the Central Florida area. Photography has been my passion for the last eight years. I have always strived to improve my skills and diversify my portfolio. A little about me: I have a one year old named Asher who you will see A LOT around my site. I also have a wonderful husband, Nathan, who smiles for the camera every now and then. They are my world! I am also an OB/Pediatric nurse (what can I say, I love playing with and caring for babies and kids)! I am always looking for new clients and would love to make precious memories of your family. They’re only little for a little while! Book your session today!

General Q&A:

Q: Where does the photography session take place?

A: Newborn sessions generally take place in my home studio where I have hundreds of unique props at my disposal. However, if you’re looking for something different, shoot me an email with your ideas! I do indoor and outdoor baby sessions (under a year). For children older than a year, I typically shoot outdoors. But again, if you’re looking for something different, shoot me a message. Family and couple shoots are typically outdoors as well!

Q: How do I go about booking a session?

A: Shoot me an email with what you are looking for. I can send you a quote and we can discuss ideas for the session.

Q: What do you charge?

A: All shoots are different and sometimes require different pricing. Shoot me an email with your photography needs (what, where, who, how many shots) and I’ll send you a quote.

Q: When can I expect the images after my session?

A: Fully edited photos are typically delivered within one to two weeks. I will shoot you an email with a link to your photographs when they are finished. I will also post “sneak peak” images on my social media pages from time to time as I’m editing them.

Q: Do you deliver digital copies of the photos?

A: Yes, you will receive the digital files. All I ask is that you post the watermarked files to social media and use the non-watermarked files for prints, etc. The watermarked files are also specially sized for social media and display better. The high resolution files work best for prints and may look worse on social media.

Q: Do you photograph other people/events?

A: Yes! Let me know what you need and I’ll get back to you.

Outdoor Portraits Q&A:

Q: What time of day do you do outdoor photo shoots?

A: Photoshoots are best done early in the morning shortly after sunrise or just before sunset.

Q: I have specific ideas for a shoot, can we do them?

A: Absolutely, let’s discuss it!

Newborn Specific Q&A:

Q: When do I schedule a session?

A: It’s best to schedule a session in your last trimester before the baby is born. We will plan the session for within ten days of your due date as this is the best time to photograph your bundle of joy. If you deliver early, no problem! We will move your session up and plan it for within ten days of delivery.

Q: How old does the newborn have to be?

A: Newborns are best photographed within ten days of delivery as they tend to sleep more during this time. They are also more flexible during this time, making posing your little one easier. However, newborn photography is not limited to the first ten days. Memories can be made at any point along the journey! Shoot me an email or give me a call to set up a session!

Q: What can I expect at a session?

A: The photography session is a stress-free time that you can relax and watch baby be photographed. A newborn photography session typically takes 3-5 hours as we are on baby’s time! We will break for feedings and diaper changes. As baby is photographed in his/her birthday suit, messes are also expected. No worries though! All props used are washed after each session anyways.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Bring your baby bag (diapers, wipes, milk/formula, binkie). If there’s a special stuffed animal, blanket, etc that you’d like baby to be photographed with, feel free to bring that too. Otherwise, all photography props are provided including backdrops, wraps, hats, etc.
